The Crowborough Edition of the Works of Arthur Conan Doyle, 24 volumes

Conan Doyle

Signed by Arthur Conan Doyle in the first volume. Number 612 of 760 copies. Complete 24 volume set in fine condition. Text is bright, clean, unmarked, with no previous owner's bookplates or names. Gilt to upper page edges is intact. Paper titles on spine are slightly darkened from age, but are crisp, in fine condition. One small dark spot to edge of first volume, slightly larger than the head of a pin (we're hoping it came from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's pipe when he held the book to sign it). $6800

Picasso's Sketchbook; A Limited Edition in Facsimile

Picasso

11 page text pamphlet with foreword by George Boudaille, as well as the "Important Note On The Facsimile Productions" are included. Spiral bound sketchbook facsimile inside. The pamphlet and sketchbook are near fine; sketchbook has some very slight fading to upper edge of the green cover. Mylar dust cover has a tear on the rear that carries into the rear of the board just slightly. There is one small closed tear at the bottom, front right corner of the mylar cover. The boards have light shelfwear to the edges. The spiral binding of the sketchbook is in as new condition. $1700

The Complete Peerage, Volumes 1-14

Peerage

EXCEPTIONALLY RARE COMPLETE SET. All 15 books (14 volumes) in green cloth covers, stated second editions. Volumes 1-13 have rough-cut pages. Pages in all volumes are clean and unmarked with almost no wear, almost like new. Book covers have only minor wear; some shelfwear and very occasional markings. Main photograph does not nearly do the books justice. Pages are still solidly bound and do not appear to be separating from their binding. $2200

The Santa Fe Trail to California

Santa Fe

H.M.T. Powell, 1931. One of 300 copies. Edited by Douglas S. Watson. Folio, natural morocco backstrip, stamped in blind, tan cloth boards. Seven small drawings, sixteen full-page drawings and two folding maps. Rough-cut pages are bright, clean and unmarked on the interior; fine, almost like new condition. Cloth covers and leather spine are also very good+ to near fine; some slight shelfwear to the spine. Binding is solid and tight. Fold-out segments are pristine. $1400

The Fine Art of Walt Disney's Donald Duck

Donald Duck

Carl Barks, 1981. Signed by Carl Barks. Number 1113 of 1875. Fine blue hardcover in fine blue slipcase. Gilt stamped titles are bright and intact on book and slipcover, as is photo pasted to front cover. The pages are fine. There is one small bump to the lower bottom edge of the rear cover. The illustration pasted to the slipcase is also in fine condition, though the case has some very slight shelfwear along the edges. $1200
